Brandywine Foamflower makes a vigorous clump of glossy, textured leaves that take on bronze tones in fall and winter. Creamy white flower spires bring a soft contrast in late spring and early summer.
Short runners allow the clump to broaden into neighboring space. The foliage usually stays around 8–10 inches high, with flowering stems potentially reaching about 18 inches. Grouped plants make a useful seasonal layer beneath taller woodland plants.
Use partial or full shade and consistently moist, humus-rich soil. Good drainage matters, especially in winter; avoid both prolonged dryness and saturated ground.
