Athyrium filix femina 'Frizelliae' is a medium-sized, upright, clump forming decidous fern with rounded, ball-like pinnae attached to each side of the midrib. Striking ferny foliage remain green throughout the season and dense right to the ground. Thrives in partial shade to full shade condition in rich, acidic, moist, well-drained soil. It can be used as mass planting, border, edging and ground cover.
