Acer japonicum ‘Beni Kawa’ is a distinctive Japanese maple prized for its coral-red young bark and refined four-season interest. New stems glow salmon to red-pink, especially vivid in winter, gradually maturing to softer tones with age.

Leaves are broad and softly lobed, emerging fresh green in spring, remaining clean through summer, and turning brilliant shades of orange, red, and gold in fall. Compared to many Acer palmatum cultivars, ‘Beni Kawa’ has a slightly bolder leaf texture and a calm, elegant presence.
