A small ornamental crabapple tree with bright red spring flowers, green foliage, yellow fall color, and showy fruit for added seasonal interest. It has a rounded habit, moderate growth rate, and is noted for strong disease resistance, making it a dependable flowering tree for home landscapes.

Features & Landscape Uses: Excellent as a specimen or accent tree in smaller landscapes. The vivid red flowers provide a strong spring display, and the fruit adds ornamental value later in the season. It is also reported to resist apple scab, powdery mildew, cedar-apple rust, and fire blight.  

Care: Plant in full sun for best flowering and fruiting. Grow in reasonably well-drained soil, water during establishment, and prune only as needed to maintain shape and airflow through the canopy.  

Trademark / Patent: I did not find evidence of a plant patent for this crabapple, and one source lists it as non-patented.
