Hosta ‘Big Daddy’ — commonly known as Big Daddy Hosta — is a large perennial prized for its broad, heavily corrugated blue-gray leaves that form a bold, dense mound in shaded gardens. The thick, deeply textured foliage holds a strong blue cast through much of the season and offers excellent slug resistance due to its heavy substance. Pale lavender to nearly white flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer on sturdy scapes.
