Peony Paula Fay

aeonia ‘Paula Fay’ is a herbaceous hybrid peony known for its brilliant deep pink to shocking pink semi-double flowers with bright golden-yellow stamens. It blooms early in the peony season on sturdy upright stems above glossy, dark green divided foliage. The blooms are large, showy, lightly fragrant, and excellent for cutting. This award-winning peony was registered by Orville Fay in 1968 and later received the American Peony Society Gold Medal.

Care:
Plant peony eyes about 1–2 inches below the soil surface; planting too deep can reduce blooming. Provide good air circulation and avoid overhead watering when possible. Remove spent flowers after bloom, but leave foliage through summer to feed the roots. Cut stems to the ground after frost in fall and discard old foliage to reduce disease issues. Avoid frequent transplanting once established.
