Firewitch Cheddar Pinks was named by the Perennial Plant Association as the Perennial Plant of the Year in 2006. They are native in Central Europe. They have attractive magenta pink flowers that sit on mounds of gray-green grassy foliage. They grow best on full sun, well drained and slightly alkaline soil. They are perfect addition to any garden for they attract hummingbirds and butterflies with their wonderful spicy sweet scents.
