A clump-forming ornamental grass with narrow green leaves marked by golden-yellow horizontal bands or small “dot-like” markings, giving it a finer, spotted look compared with broader zebra grasses. In late summer to fall, reddish-brown to bronze plumes rise above the foliage and age to silvery tan, adding winter interest.
