Miscanthus sinensis ‘Yakushima Dwarf’ is a compact ornamental perennial grass with fine-textured, narrow green foliage that forms a dense, rounded, fountain-like clump. In late summer into fall, soft pinkish-brown plumes rise above the foliage and mature to silvery-white, holding well for winter interest. The foliage often develops warm bronze to tan tones in fall, making this a good smaller Miscanthus for borders, mass plantings, specimen use, and naturalized-style landscapes.
