A cold-hardy selection of deodar cedar valued for its intense steel-blue foliage and compact, upright pyramidal form. Softer and denser than the species, ‘Polar Winter’ maintains excellent color through winter and shows the graceful, slightly pendulous branch tips characteristic of deodar cedar—without the massive scale of standard forms.
