Fargesia murielae — commonly called Umbrella Bamboo — is a graceful, non-invasive evergreen bamboo (grass) valued for its soft, arching habit and dense foliage. It forms tight, clumping growth with slender canes and abundant fine-textured leaves that arch outward, creating a fountain-like, umbrella effect. Unlike running bamboos, it does not spread aggressively, making it an excellent choice for residential landscapes and controlled plantings.
