Fargesia jiuzhaigou — commonly called Red Bamboo — is a colorful, non-invasive evergreen bamboo (grass) valued for its striking culm coloration and graceful habit. It forms tight clumps of slender canes that emerge green and gradually develop rich red to burgundy tones, especially in cooler weather and with good sun exposure. Fine-textured green leaves create a soft, airy appearance, while the colorful stems provide year-round visual interest.
