Solidago Shortii 'Solar Cascade'

Solar Cascade Goldenrod carries golden flower clusters along gently bending stems from late summer into fall. Glossy, deep green leaves make a clean background for the bright display.

It forms a compact clump and expands gradually rather than behaving as a strongly running goldenrod. The accessible flowers welcome many insects, and the stems are useful in seasonal arrangements.

Plant in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. Moist to average conditions support strong growth, while established plants tolerate drought. Groups of plants give a fuller late-season effect.
