Nepeta racemosa ‘Little Titch’ is a very compact herbaceous perennial with aromatic green to gray-green foliage and short spikes of lavender-blue to blue-purple flowers. It forms a low, tight mound or carpet and blooms from late spring into summer, often reblooming with trimming. Its small size makes it especially useful for edging, rock gardens, small borders, containers, pathway edges, and groundcover-style massing. RHS describes it as a compact perennial to about 30 cm tall with aromatic foliage and lavender-blue summer flowers.

Features & Landscape Uses:
Excellent dwarf catmint for front-of-border planting, edging, rock gardens, wall plantings, containers, herb gardens, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and dry sunny spots. It is smaller and tighter than many common catmints, making it a good choice where ‘Walker’s Low’ or larger forms would spread too much. Several nursery listings describe it as heat- and drought-tolerant once established.

Care:
Plant in well-drained soil and avoid wet winter conditions. Shear lightly after the first heavy bloom to encourage fresh foliage and rebloom. Cut back old stems in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Avoid rich soil or heavy fertilizer, which can make catmint stretch and lose its compact shape.
