Rhododendron Minnas Purple

Purple Gem Rhododendron

Purple Gem' is a low-growing, evergreen rhododendron resulting from a cross between the U. S. native Rhododendron carolinianum and the Asian native Rhododendron fastigiatum. It is indeed a gem, requiring little maintenance and producing a profusion of lavender-blue flowers in mid-spring.
