Mrs Furnival Rhododendron

Mrs. Furnival is a slowly growing evergreen rhododendron with a dense, rounded crown and dark green leaves. Its light rosy-pink flowers have a prominent red blotch on the upper petal and are held in substantial clusters.

Grow in sun or partial shade with acidic, well-drained soil and steady moisture. Flowering is midseason, around May in Oregon. It is distinct from Mrs. G. W. Leak, a cultivar with earlier flowers and a darker blotch.
