Mrs. P. D. Williams has clusters of open, ivory-white flowers with a conspicuous brown blotch on the upper lobes. Long, dark green leaves provide a contrasting background. It is a medium-growing rhododendron traditionally associated with the Knap Hill hybrids.

Use acidic, humus-rich soil with good drainage and dependable moisture. Partial shade is a suitable position.
