Rhododendron Harris
Harris Hybrid Azalea
The Harris Hybrids are a group of evergreen azaleas introduced by James Harris of Lawrenceville, Georgia, in the 1970s and 1980s. Most bear large, colorful flowers in mid- to late spring on compact or cascading branches. Like most evergreen azaleas, Harris Hybrids prefer partial shade and thrive in well drained, humus-rich, acid soil. They work well in many garden settings including woodland plantings, mixed borders, and containers.
