Bald Cypress

Fastigiata bald cypress develops a narrow columnar crown, giving it a more upright outline than typical bald cypress. Its soft green needles turn orange in fall and then drop for winter.

Grow in full sun with acidic soil and dependable moisture. Like other bald cypresses, it can grow in wet ground or ordinary garden soil that does not become excessively dry. Allow room for a substantial tree as it ages.
