Peve Minaret bald cypress (Taxodium distichum ‘Peve Minaret’) makes a compact, narrow spire with closely arranged branches and soft green foliage. The fine needles turn reddish brown in autumn before falling.

Tiered branches and slightly upturned tips become more visible in winter. This smaller selection brings the texture of bald cypress into gardens with less room, while pruning can further influence its outline.

Provide adequate moisture and room for the trained framework. Bald cypress grows well in wet ground as well as ordinary garden soil; avoid strongly alkaline sites.
