White Sage

White sage is an evergreen shrub with strongly aromatic, silvery foliage. White flowers touched with lavender rise on tall stems and attract bees. It is associated with dry slopes in coastal and inland Southern California.

Choose full sun and sharply drained soil. Avoid prolonged winter wetness; this sage can be difficult to establish where humidity and saturated soil persist.
