Plum Parfait is a compact fruiting deciduous plumcot tree developed by Zaiger Genetics. It is an interspecific hybrid between plum and apricot, producing fruit with pinkish-orange skin and marbled crimson-and-amber freestone flesh. The flavor is a sweet blend of plum and apricot, and the tree is noted for being compact, very early blooming, and self-fruitful.

Features & Landscape Uses:
Good for home orchards, edible landscapes, small fruit gardens, and sunny backyard plantings where a compact stone-fruit tree is desired. The fruit is especially attractive because of its pink-orange skin and marbled interior. It is listed as self-fruitful, so it can produce without a separate pollinizer, though nearby compatible plum, pluot, or plumcot varieties may improve fruit set in some locations.

Care:
Plant in full sun with good air circulation and well-drained soil. Prune during dormancy to maintain size, shape, and an open canopy. Thin young fruit if the crop is heavy to improve fruit size and reduce branch stress. Because it blooms very early, avoid frost pockets and choose a protected site where late spring freezes are less severe.
