Sweet Sensation™ Dwarf Peach / Fruit Snacks® Sweet Sensation™ Peach

Sweet Sensation™ is a compact deciduous fruit tree selected for small gardens, patios, narrow spaces, and container growing. It has a naturally upright to columnar form, pink spring flowers, green summer foliage, and full-sized, low-fuzz peaches with bright red to peachy-pink skin and sweet, juicy yellow flesh. Monrovia lists it as Prunus persica ‘Sweet Sensation’, while Fruit Snacks®/Plants Nouveau listings connect the series to compact columnar peach selections from Burchell Nursery.

Features & Landscape Uses:
Excellent for patios, containers, small orchards, edible landscapes, narrow sunny borders, hedge-like fruit plantings, and urban gardens. Sweet Sensation™ is especially useful where a full-size peach tree would be too wide. The fruit is suited for fresh eating, cobblers, pies, preserves, and other desserts, and the compact form makes harvest and pruning easier than with standard peaches.

Care:
Plant in full sun with good air circulation. In heavy soil, use a raised mound or raised bed to improve drainage. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce frequency once established. Fertilize in late winter before bloom. Prune to shape, remove dead or damaged branches, and maintain the narrow form. Thin young fruit to improve mature fruit size and reduce branch stress. Watch for common peach issues such as peach leaf curl, brown rot, borers, bacterial spot, and late-frost damage to flowers.

Pollination:
Self-pollinating, so one tree can produce fruit; adding another compatible peach nearby can increase crop size.
