Liriodendron tulipifera ‘JFS-Oz’ (Emerald City® Tulip Tree) is a refined selection of tulip tree with a strong upright-oval, slightly compact habit, a dominant central leader, and deeper green, slightly glossy foliage than seed-grown trees. Like the species, it develops distinctive tulip-shaped greenish-yellow flowers with orange centers on mature trees, and its leaves turn a bright, clear yellow in fall. It is especially valued for its uniform growth, straighter form, and suitability as a street or shade tree.

Care:
Plant in full sun in deep, well-drained soil with room to mature. Water regularly during establishment and during dry spells. Minimal pruning is usually needed beyond structural shaping when young. Avoid compacted or persistently dry sites for best performance.
