Achillea 'Terra Cotta'

Yarrow Achillea Terra Cotta

Achillea ‘Terra Cotta’ is a distinctive perennial yarrow celebrated for its unique, color-shifting flowers. Flat-topped blooms open in warm burnt orange and copper tones, then gradually fade through apricot, peach, and soft yellow, creating a multicolored effect over an extended bloom period. Finely textured, aromatic gray-green foliage provides an excellent backdrop.

Blooming from early to mid-summer, with continued color when spent flowers are removed, ‘Terra Cotta’ forms a compact, upright clump and offers strong garden presence without excessive spreading. Flowers are long-lasting and excellent for cut or dried arrangements.

Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is heat and drought tolerant once established and performs best in lean soils. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–8, it is also deer resistant and pollinator friendly.

Mature size:

Height: 24–30 in

Width: 18–24 in

Ideal for perennial borders, cottage gardens, pollinator plantings, and cutting gardens, Achillea ‘Terra Cotta’ is prized for its unusual coloration, long bloom season, and low-maintenance reliability.
