Coppertina Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Mindia’) opens the season with copper-orange foliage that shifts toward richer red as summer develops. Its warm leaf colors give depth to a mixed border and make a useful companion for green, silver or pale-flowered plants.

Pale pink to white flower clusters appear in summer above the leafy branches. The shrub forms a substantial, arching framework, and peeling bark adds texture when the deciduous leaves have fallen. It is well suited to an informal planting where its branches can develop freely.
