Picea omorika 'Pimoko'
Pimoko Serbian Spruce
Pimoko Serbian Spruce (Picea omorika ‘Pimoko’) is a small conifer with a richly textured blend of dark green, blue-green and silver. Pale needle undersides catch the light, while reddish-brown buds add detail among the close-set shoots.
Young plants form a rounded mound. Over time, several upright shoots may develop, giving the plant a broader, more upright outline. It is well suited to a rock garden or a dwarf conifer collection where this gradual change can be enjoyed at close range.
Plant in sun with moist, well-drained soil. A cool site sheltered from drying winds helps keep the foliage in good condition.
