Picea omorika 'Pendula Bruns'

Pendula Bruns Serbian Spruce

Pendula Bruns Serbian Spruce (Picea omorika ‘Pendula Bruns’) creates a strikingly narrow evergreen spire. Its branches hang closely alongside the trunk, carrying greenish-blue needles with silvery undersides.

The tightly weeping habit supplies a strong vertical accent while using comparatively little ground space. Small movements of the branches reveal flashes of the lighter needle surfaces. Give the leader room to rise and use the tree as an individual feature.

Plant in sun with moist, well-drained soil. A cool site sheltered from drying winds helps keep the foliage in good condition.
