Picea pungens 'Bizon Blue'

Bizon Blue Spruce

Bizon Blue Colorado Spruce (Picea pungens ‘Bizon Blue’) combines vivid silver-blue needles with dense, evenly arranged branches. The resulting pyramid has a full, balanced appearance that makes the foliage color especially prominent.

Selected by Bizon Nursery in Oregon, it is useful as a formal evergreen specimen or as a repeated accent in a spacious landscape. Growth remains steady, and the tree continues to gain size beyond its ten-year dimensions. Allow its lower branches to develop freely.

Plant in sun with well-drained soil and water during establishment. Cool, relatively dry climates suit Colorado spruce better than hot, humid summers.
