Picea pungens 'Iseli Fastigiate'

Iseli Fastigiate Blue Spruce

Iseli Fastigiate Blue Spruce (Picea pungens ‘Iseli Fastigiate’) carries blue needles on strongly ascending branches. The close, upright framework produces a slender evergreen outline with a clear vertical emphasis.

This selection adds height and blue color where a broadly spreading spruce would take up too much ground. Use it as an individual accent or among lower, rounded plants. Its narrow habit still requires space for the branches and continued growth with age.

Plant in sun with well-drained soil and water during establishment. Cool, relatively dry climates suit Colorado spruce better than hot, humid summers.
