Pieris japonica 'Dorothy Wyckoff'
Japanese Pieris
Dorothy Wyckoff Pieris combines glossy evergreen leaves with a colorful spring display. Red new growth appears as dark flower buds open into pale pink bells that gradually fade toward white.
The flowers hang in branching clusters and have a light fragrance. In cold weather, some foliage develops bronze tones.
Plant in sun or partial shade with acidic soil rich in organic matter. Maintain drainage and protect young plants from severe winter exposure.
