Pinus Koralensis Oculus Dragoni
Koreana Variegated Pine
Dragon’s Eye Korean Pine (Pinus koraiensis ‘Oculus Draconis’) carries yellow bands across soft blue-green needles. The pattern tends to be strongest in colder climates, where the contrast can become a defining feature of the tree.
The needles turn downward, giving the foliage a graceful draped appearance around an upright framework. A plain, darker background helps both the banding and the softer outline remain visible.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
