Pinus nigra Oregon Green
Oregon Green Austrian Pine
Oregon Green Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra ‘Oregon Green’) grows into a small evergreen tree with plentiful stiff needles. It provides a substantial conifer presence without immediately reaching the scale of a typical Austrian pine.
Allow space for continued growth after its first decade. A ten-year plant may be 10–12 feet tall, while established trees can reach about 20 feet.
Grow in full sun and plan the planting around its eventual height.
