Pinus Strobus Torulosa
Twisted White Pine
Torulosa Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus ‘Torulosa’) is distinguished by strongly twisted needles. The branches also show some twisting, adding irregular detail to its evergreen canopy.
Use it as a specimen where the foliage texture can be seen at close range. Its ornamental effect comes from the curled needles and branch character rather than a uniform outline.
Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
