Pinus sylvestris 'Nana'
Scotch Pine
Nana Scots Pine is a small evergreen selection with closely packed branches and short, upward-pointing shoots. Blue-green needles give its dense outline color throughout the year. Oregon State describes a height of about 20 inches.
Choose a sunny site with good drainage. Its small stature can suit the front of a conifer planting or a rock garden. Avoid assuming that the height reference establishes its eventual spread.
