Platanus x acerifolia 'Bloodgood'

Bloodgood London Planetree

Bloodgood London plane develops a broad shade canopy above a trunk that sheds bark in patches of cream and brown. Its large leaves give a bold summer texture, and the cultivar is selected for improved anthracnose resistance.

The canopy loses its leaves for winter. Autumn color includes yellow.

Choose a sunny position with well-drained soil. Water during establishment and allow enough room for the developing crown.
