Platanus x acerifolia M.Circle Exclamation
Exclamation London Plane Tree
Exclamation London Plane Tree brings a strong, balanced outline to a large landscape. Its branches build an upright, pyramidal crown with medium-green summer foliage, followed by yellow leaves in fall.
This selection, also identified as Morton Circle, combines moderate growth with relatively light fruit production. It has documented resistance to anthracnose and frost cracking, with moderate resistance to powdery mildew.
Its tolerance of urban conditions makes it useful along broad streets and in generous shade plantings. Plan around the mature crown rather than the size of a young nursery tree, allowing room for the branches to develop their natural symmetry.
