Plum Bluebyrd
Blue Byrd Plum
Bluebyrd is a European plum with blue-skinned fruit and firm, sweet flesh. It was developed by the USDA Appalachian Fruit Research Station. Its harvest is generally in August.
Grow it in full sun with well-drained loamy soil. Provide a compatible plum for cross-pollination. Allow planting space appropriate to the tree's rootstock.
