Plum Stanley
Stanley Plum
Stanley Plum is a European prune plum grown for sweet fruit with tender, fine-textured flesh. The harvest can be eaten fresh or used for drying, canning, and preserves.
The tree becomes a heavy bearer as it matures, although meaningful production may take five years or longer. It is useful for home orchards that need a versatile preserving plum.
Choose full sun. Stanley is self-fertile; where black knot is common, local disease conditions should guide planting decisions.
