Polemonium Stairway to Heaven
Spreading Jacob's Ladder
Stairway to Heaven Jacob's Ladder forms a low clump of divided leaves, with green centers and creamy margins. Cool spring weather brings a pink flush to the pale leaf edges.
Small, lightly scented flowers range from pale blue toward white. Its spreading outline and patterned foliage work well beside a path or among perennials with larger, simpler leaves.
Plant in fertile, moisture-retentive soil that drains well. Keep young plants watered while their roots establish.
