Potentilla fruticosa 'Dakota Sunspot'

Shrubby Cinquefoil

Dakota Sunspot, the Fargo cultivar, is a compact, spreading cinquefoil with yellow flowers and finely textured green leaves. Summer flowering can continue into fall, though hot spells may reduce the display.

Give it a sunny site for best flowering. It accepts a range of soils but needs drainage. Thin older branches in late winter or early spring.
