Prunus campanulata Okame

Okame Cherry

Okame flowering cherry opens abundant clear pink blossoms early in the season. Colored buds and persistent flower bases extend the display, while its fine-textured leaves and upright oval crown carry the tree into summer.

The canopy loses its leaves for winter. Autumn color includes orange, red and yellow. Allow the natural framework to develop without crowding neighboring plants or paths.

Choose a sunny position with well-drained soil. Water during establishment and allow enough room for the developing crown.
