Prunus cerasifera 'Thundercloud'

Thundercloud Cherry Plum

Thundercloud flowering plum brings dark purple foliage and pale pink spring blossom to the garden. Flowers open around the time the leaves emerge, creating a brief, soft-colored contrast against the developing dark canopy.

Its structure combines dense branching and a rounded outline. Growth is moderate. The leaves are shed for winter. Autumn foliage can bring purple tones.

Choose a site in full sun or partial shade. Provide well-drained soil and maintain even moisture.
