Prunus sargentii Princeton Snowcloud
Princeton Snowcloud Cherry
Princeton Snowcloud is a vigorous flowering cherry with abundant white blossoms. Its upright, columnar habit gives it a narrower outline than many spreading ornamental cherries. In late autumn, the leaves turn bright red.
The selection originated in New Jersey from open-pollinated seedlings of Sargent cherry Columnaris. Its white flowers distinguish it from the usual pink-flowered Sargent cherry.
