Pulmonaria X Blue Ensign
Blue Ensign Lungwort
Blue Ensign Lungwort brings a strong patch of violet-blue to the spring shade garden. Its clustered blooms rise above broad, dark green leaves, giving the flowers a clear backdrop.
This low perennial develops a leafy clump suited to the front of a border or a woodland planting. Its plain green foliage offers a quieter texture among the silver-spotted leaves of other lungworts.
Keep the soil fertile and evenly moist with good drainage. Provide partial shade, and remove worn foliage when needed.
