Pyrus calleryana 'Redspire'

Redspire Pear

Redspire is an ornamental Callery pear with a symmetrical pyramidal crown. It produces white flowers in spring, followed by glossy foliage and yellow-to-red fall color. This selection enters autumn dormancy relatively early.

Provide sun and well-drained soil. Callery pear offspring can escape cultivation and become invasive. Its small, hard fruits are not dessert pears.
