Pyrus calleryana Bradford

Bradford Pear

Bradford ornamental pear produces white flowers before its leaves open. Its dense branching can split as the tree ages, so structural weakness is a significant limitation of this selection.

Provide sun and well-drained soil. Callery pear offspring can escape cultivation and become invasive. Its small, hard fruits are not dessert pears.
