Pyrus calleryana Whitehouse
Whitehouse Pear
Whitehouse flowering pear develops a columnar to pyramidal crown around a strong central trunk. The branches arch upward, carrying glossy green leaves that are relatively narrow and pointed. White flowers open somewhat later than those of several other Callery pear selections. Leaves turn reddish-purple in fall.
Callery pear is invasive in parts of the United States; check regional planting guidance.
