Rhus aromatica 'Gro-Low'
Gro-Low Fragrant Sumac
Gro-Low Fragrant Sumac (Rhus aromatica ‘Gro-Low’) spreads into a low, broad cover with glossy green leaves. Each leaf has three leaflets, and the foliage develops orange-red tones in fall.
Small yellow flowers and red fruit add quieter details. Stems can root where they touch the ground, helping the shrub fill a bank or connect a grouped planting.
Plant in sun or partial shade, preferably in acidic soil with good drainage. Allow room for spreading stems.
