Dwarf purple willow (Salix purpurea 'Nana') forms a rounded shrub with slender blue-green leaves and purplish stems. Its fine texture works well beside bolder foliage, particularly in a sunny, moisture-retentive border.
Its structure combines arching stems and upright growth. Growth is fast. The leaves are shed for winter.
